BREAKING NEWS!

We are recruiting businesses for our 2010 Summer Program:

Businesses will receive free assistance/labor while providing youth valuable job skills training and experience in the world-of-work. Businesses can participate by providing one or more youth with 150-200 hours of work. Click here for more information.

Youth participants - Thank you for your interest in the NOVA Summer Youth Employment Program. We currently have a waiting list of over 120 youth and are no longer taking applications. Please see our Year-Round Services below.

Year-Round Services

Are you between the ages of 16 and 24 and looking for a job?

If you live in Cupertino, Los Altos, Milpitas, Mountain View, Palo Alto, Santa Clara, or Sunnyvale, NOVA's Youth Employment Program can open the door for you to the world of work.

The Youth Employment Program provides individualized assistance in exploring and developing educational and career goals to youth in our community. All services are free and include:

Application/Interview Preparation Workshop
Hire Learning career resource center
Career guidance program funded by the federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA). Services available to income-eligible youth (ages 16–21) include:
- One-on-one assistance from a career advisor
- Career assessment
- Paid and unpaid work experience
- Microsoft Office skills training
- College and other training support and information
