Do you want to help your child get work experience?

NOVA offers the following FREE services to local youth (age 16-24): 

  • Our searchable database of job listings at www.youthatwork.org
  • Pre-employment workshop
  • Guidance from friendly and qualified youth counselors

Does your child need on-on-one assistance to meet his/her career goals?

Your child may qualify for our career guidance program.  WIA provides individual support services including: work experience, tutoring, career exploration, job shadowing and college transition.  Your child may be eligible if he/she is a(n):

  • Economically disadvantaged youth
  • Foster youth
  • High School drop-out/
    at risk of dropping out
  • Ex-offender
  • Pregnant/Parenting teen
  • Youth with disabilities
  • Youth ages 16-21

If your child doesn't meet these qualifications, still contact us. We may be able to refer you to other resources.
