NOVA offers the following FREE services to local youth (age 16-24):

  • Pre-employment workshop
  • Guidance from friendly and qualified youth counselors

Are you looking for practical tips to help your child get started in their career?

Then access our popular Mentor's Guide! Apply the included tools to assist your child as he/she explores careers, looks for a job, successfully keeps a job, and manages expenses.

Does your child need one-on-one assistance to meet his/her career goals?

Your child may qualify for our Career Guidance program.  Our Career Guidance program provides individual support services including: work experience, tutoring, career exploration, job shadowing and college transition.  Your child may be eligible if he/she is a(n):

  • Economically disadvantaged youth
  • Foster youth
  • High School drop-out/
    at risk of dropping out
  • Ex-offender
  • Pregnant/Parenting teen
  • Youth with disabilities
  • Youth ages 16-24

If your child doesn't meet these qualifications, still contact us. We may be able to refer you to other resources.
